Ao Nang beach in Krabi province, southern Thailand! We stayed at the Ao Nang Villa Resort - brilliant - right on the beach, Quiet - close to shopping - lovely people, beautiful food at the local foodstalls, paradise at very reasonable prices. Go there during the low season - may till october - temperatures are lower! Rainy season, but who cares about a little bit of rain when the temperatures around 25-30 degrees!! There's plenty to do, places to go to and activities. Talk to the locals and treat them as you would want to be treated. We've had many laughs and have made some good friends there. We have been there four times now and would go back again!! I am confined to a wheelchair with MS, but not a problem to these wonderful people in this wonderful place! Recomended to everyone.
Mangaweka, the place to to go and enjoy the Rangitiki River. Lots fun, cheap camping grounds fishing, water rafts and so on. Its a small town but a lot going on. The Bungi jump is about 20minutes away and also theres a water fall can enjoy. Been there a hundred times cos its soooo awsome.
home were we have all the comforts freely available. beaches galore and green pastures.
The cheapest place is in Otematata New Zealand! It is SOOOOO cheap there but still good!!!
You can have the most amazing holiday... a holiday of a lifetime. Amazing scenery, wildlife, culture, shopping, great theme parks, eating out, anything you like. Once you have the flight paid for everything else is CHEAP. Just avoid the package deals and book your own accomodation!
Phuket is very cheap especially if you buy your goods where the thais buy and not where the tourists go. Same with eating , eat where the local thais eat and you can fill your tummy for a couple of dollars. Use your common sense though..if its unclean go to the next stall. And barter on your goods..if the seller is asking 250 baht for a t-shirt offer 120 baht and increse only to max 150 baht..and remember to smile when you are bargaining...
